Avalon Motel Thames - Wenzel Motels is a great base to explore the Coromandel Peninsular. Within easy reach of the popular locations of Coromandel Town, Whitianga, Cathedral Cove, Hahei, Hot Water Beach, Kauaeranga Valley and the many local walks of Thames. We are within 1.5 km of a supermarket, I-site, shopping, cafés, bars and the many localy run Museums and craft stores. The Thames Hauraki Rail Trail is across the road from us and there is a true farmers market every Saturday morning. All rooms are air conditioned with flexible room sizes. The spacious rooms are large enough to contain a microwave kitchenette, sofa, table and chairs, shower bathroom, Sky and cable TV. All parking is allocated. The room would either open onto your own patio or will overlook our lawns, garden and swimming pool. There is a guest laundry onsite and free WiFi is provided to all guests.

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform Avalon Motel Thames - Wenzel Motels in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of NZD 300 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property. If you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, please inform Avalon Motel in advance, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.

Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for NZD 19 per person per stay when using an available cot. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
