"Pros: The property is very close to Little Onerua beach and walking distance to Onerua village. The bed was comfortable, the line es were very nice, and the shower was strong and hot (though we tried to conserve water.) Communication before and during the visit was good. Cons: I would’ve liked specific walking directions from Onerua so we didn’t walk on the road for the last bit. All I got was you can get off at stop 15 and walk up the hill. When the sidewalk runs out, you need to take the path down toward the beach, then cross the busy road and walk up the hill. I also would expect a unit by the beach to have beach towels. As others have noted, the only water source for the kitchenette is the bathroom. I found a basin that I filled with water to wash dishes, but I wish it was labeled for kitchen dish use only. I don’t know if someone might clean the floors with it.Know that you can sort of see the water from Unit 2, and there is road noise if you keep the unit open." ~Dana
