"Pros: This was by far the best accommodation we have stayed for our trip to date. This magnificent house perched on the top of a hill had every amenity that we could possibly want - warm fireplace, hot spa tub and exceptional views. I would like to hide out here and turn off my phone for a whole week or more. The Catlins is the most beautiful place in the South Island and this residence is by far the most beautiful place to stay while visiting this area. Cons: The steep gravel driveway was not really loved by our SUV but we made it to the top so all good." ~Maree
