"Pros: Arriving after 3 day travel, we wanted clean, comfortable accommodation, nice breakfast to set us up. While pricey, this seemed to fit the bill. I guess 2 out of 3 ain't bad!! Room was exceptional, as were the grounds (Might be an idea to repaint the (peeling) outside tub!!) really good nights sleep, which we needed, breakfast was diy, bacon, eggs & bits. Absolutely zonked, we opted for the fruit, yogurt, juice, boiled a couple of eggs for later. All good, just looked forward to having a breakfast cooked for us! Did it spoil the stay? no, but having expected would have raised to exceptional. Worth noting, Villa Walton is a good way north of Matamata, we missed the turn, had to backtrack several K. Cons: DIY breakfast. Lovely ingredients, just too tired to cook. Addition of 'credit card surcharge was disappointing - if I'd known, I'd have paid cash.
