Accomodation

Located near the egde of Lake Wanaka, Mt Gold Glamping is set on a private farm. There are 2 private campsites with tents on offer, which are accessible by foot. Free private parking is available on site. Each tent has a BBQ, running water, hot shower and toilet. Towels and bed linen are provided. A shallow bay and beach are 900 metres from the property. Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including horse riding, golfing and fishing and Puzzling World and the township of Wanaka is only located 14 km from Mt Gold Glamping. Queenstown Airport is 53 km away. The final access road is a dirt road which is rough and has a number of potholes - you will need to drive slowly, and we don't recommend travelling in vehicles that are particularly low to the ground!

This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. A damage deposit of NZD 250 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Note that smoking is strictly prohibited at this property. You will be fined $500 if there is any evidence of cigarettes having been smoked on site. This is non-negotiable due the extreme fire risk in place all summer in Central Otago. All guests need to have a moderate level of fitness as you are required to walk 5-10 minutes to your camp site, over uneven terrain uphill. Access to Mt Gold is especially steep. Children of any age are allowed. People no matter the age stay for NZD 20 per person per night when using an available extra bed. You haven't added any cots. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
