Kawau Lodge is located in North Cove on Kawau Island. It is only accessible by boat. Transfers depart from Sandspit, approximately 1 hour’s drive north of Auckland. Cost of transfers are NZD25 per person each way.

Could guests please contact Kawau Lodge prior to their arrival with an estimate of their arrival time at Sandspit and also so that Kawau Lodge can forward guests a Food Preference Sheet for catering purposes. This is important as there are no shops on the island.
