"Pros: The location was great. Being right on the beach was amazing. You could tell a lot of work had gone into the communal areas, they were clean well decorated and modern Cons: We stayed in the rooms to the back of the common area and didnt feel the room that we stayed in was good value for money. Our first room had a big mould issue and a leak. We were swiftly moved which was great but the rooms are dated and the toilet and shower very basic for a 4 star hotel. Everything is very expensive and more catered for intermediate and advanced surfers. I asked for a surf lesson but there seemed to be only one person available who was with the advanced group, it also felt like he couldn't be bothered and suggested that I go with my boyfriend instead. We were overcharged and are still chasing for the refund almost one month after leaving, which is a real shame as we are travelling on a budget. All in all, it didn't meet our expectations." ~Paige
