"Pros: We stayed here for four nights and had a really good experience. It’s a bit off-grid, but the neighborhood is very safe, and the hostess is incredibly kind! There were some ants in the room in the evening because they could come under the door, but they are working on that and it’s wasn’t really a bother because it’s not during the day or night. Our room had a fan and a private bathroom. We were also able to use the laundry area in the back. The food was delicious, we had both breakfast and dinner here, and it was very affordable and delicious. You can rent a scooter, but we got around by bus. The location is close to Charco Verde and Ojo de Agua, but quite far from Playa Mangos and El Pital. If you don’t want to rent a scooter like us, we’d recommend taking a tuk-tuk for those places. May (the hostess) even taught me some Spanish words and phrases and explained everything about the island. She is truly so sweet!" ~Ryana
