"Pros: This is a fairly new accomodation, but the premises itself is an old village house, which has been tastefully converted and refurbished for its current purpose. The area is very quiet and peaceful, which is exactly what we aimed for when choosing the surroundings of Lake Prespa for the part of our summer roadtrip across this region in the Balkans. The house benefits from a large yard, which continues into an apple orchard and ultimately the lake itself, on the other side of the paved road connecting the villages on the Eastern shore of the lake, from the border with Greece to the town of Resen. The real asset of the place is its owners, the Josifovski family - we got to meet and love 3 of them, Alec and his parents, Nikola and Mara. These people were kind, welcoming and warm, they were the salt of the Earth. They made us feel like we belong there, and we can't thank them enough for it - especially our son found in Alec a big brother, and in Nikola and Mara - two playful and care-giving grandparents, not unlike his own back home.
Returning to the house, the room was clean and tidy, there is a mosquito net at the window, and the shower and bathroom work flawlessly. Breakfast was delicious, all prepared then & there by Mara's very capable hands.
I take this opportunity to salute them again, and also to send my regards to another guest that's been with us there - Hi, Remco, it was lovely meeting you and hope to criss-cross paths again!
Cons: I just wish we could have stayed more :)" ~Andrei-cezar
