"Pros: Location and kitchen equipment were excellent. Very comfortable for two. Cons: Large bed was far too soft. The sheets were too small for it. We stay in lots of self catering places and Novosol is easily the worst agent we've had to deal with. They never answer the phone. All you get is a Norwegian answering machine. They take about 3 weeks to reply to emails. Unusually you have to pay extra for sheets and towels. You can't order these off their booking page, and it took me a long time to work out how to do it." ~Phil

"Pros: The cabin is superb. From the living room you open the windows and you are right on the edge of the fjord. The cabin was recently renovated so everything was brand new and well equiped. The host was helpful and left us the key for a late checkin. We appreciated that. The bathroom was very clean. Cons: The pillows have seen better days. The linen was clean, but the pillows were old and had some stains" ~Florin

"Pros: The location! Small fishing harbor off the beaten tourist track, magnificent views day and night, close to the most beautiful sites in southern Lofoten, a very good restaurant nearby (Maren Anna), lovely winter walks in the village on either side of the harbor. Cosy interior and comfortable bedding. An efficient stove for long winter nights. Check-in granted as early as 2pm to enable us to arrive before dark. Please note that the agency recommends a 4x4 for winter access to the accommodation, as the last short stretch of road is quite steep. Having an ordinary car, we chose to park before this last stretch (about fifty meters), on the spot recommended for parking during snowstorms, and it was perfect that way (you just have to carry your suitcases a little further, but nothing insurmountable). Shovels available on the path leading to the rorbu for clearing snow. Cons: No internet (wifi access is limited, and previous guests had obviously used up all the available capacity). Minimalist furniture and kitchen equipment, when all that's needed is 2 real armchairs instead of chairs, a small piece of furniture to put your things on in the bathroom, and additional equipment in the living room (no tongs, gloves or shovels to remove ashes when using the stove) and kitchen to make it perfect. Also missing are instructions on where to dispose of the rubbish." ~Anissa

"Pros: we didn't actually stay in the property as we originally booked due to a water pipe issue. the host emailed me the day before and relocate us at a better location-right in the town of A, everywhere is walkable and we didn't drive our car for two days without worrying about parking at all. the arrangement turned out to be even better than "our originally booking" can't be happier.
