"Pros: Close to the maelstrom and the bridge from where you can check it but also the northern lights, its a great base for exploring the area. The apartment has two toilets, which can be convenient. The kitchen is fully equipped.
Cons: The apartment is a partial basement which means there is not much light if there is no sun and there were only individual lamps everywhere so you could not light the whole room. This was not a problem, but this could be improved. Each room had a sleeping couch where you could sit and relax but there was no common room where we all could sit together unless you got a kitchen chair or sat on the ground, so for some this may be inconvenient."
