The location is perfect, right by the harbor, offering breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding mountains. Waking up to such a stunning view was truly unforgettable. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The bathroom was well-equipped, with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The overall design of the room made it feel both stylish and welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of fresh options, including bread, smoked salmon, local specialties, and a great selection of drinks. Enjoying breakfast while overlooking the beautiful harbor was a highlight of my stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they were always ready to help with recommendations and any requests. Their warm hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had an amazing experience at Thon Hotel Svolvær. From the beautiful location to the excellent service, everything exceeded my expectations. "Pros: The hotel is situated excellently near the center of Svolvaer without being so close that it was noisy. The blackout blinds in the room were fantastic at blocking out the light from the midnight sun. The breakfast area was spacious and the breakfast itself was superb - in fact, it was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had anywhere outside of a 5 star. Cons: The beds were a little too soft. This is a problem with a lot of mid-size hotels unfortunately. In addition, the single pillow provided wasn't enough to provide a comfortable sleep - they should either provide thicker pillows or provide multiples of them. Finally, the heating/cooling system in the rooms was impossible to manipulate, leaving us with a room that was either too hot or too cold." ~Adrian
