"Pros: The living-cum-dining room is spacious. There is also a platio to chill out in. Cons: There aren't any hooks in both bathrooms, and the second bathroom is tiny. The bedrooms are rather bland with no decorations at all." ~Jo

"Pros: The location is terrific. Just a short walk to the shops + restaurants of downtown Voss. The apartment also has a great view of the river + mountains from both the balcony and the living/dining areas. The main bedroom is spacious + comfortable. Parking is provided within the parking garage located at ground level within the building. The 4 Brunstad chairs in the living area are wonderfully comfortable. The apartment was very clean and we made use of the washer + dryer more than once. We made the short walk to the nearby gorge one afternoon and also took walks around the nearby lake / forest. Also, there are at least 4 very good grocery stores within walking distance (Co op, SPAR, KIWI, and Extra). Cons: The management company (Novasol) was both deceptive and unhelpful. Two major deceptions: 1) we booked the apartment for 6 nights via Booking.com at a fixed price of NOK 8984, which on the day we booked was equivalent to EUR 876.38. Novasol required that we pay for the booking in full right away to retain the reservation, but instead of the EUR 876.38 amount, they demanded EUR 930 and told us that the price shown on Booking.com was "not our responsibility"(!!) and that they would not honor the amount that we agreed to when we booked the apartment. Since we booked the reservation on short notice and we could find no other comparable lodgings on such short notice, we paid the inflated amount. Then, after we paid they sent us a payment "voucher" confirming our payment. This voucher contains the following sentence: "Order of bed linen and towels not possible, please bring your own". Nowhere in the description of the apartment does it mention that linens + towels are not provided, and if we had known that we would have to bring towels + sheets with us from the USA we definitely WOULD NOT have booked the apartment in the first place. Also, the local Novasol representative doesn't seem to know anything about the apartment. When we arrived we made contact with them to ask where we should park. They didn't know. We asked on which floor of the building the apartment was actually located. They didn't know. We asked where we should place the trash + recycling. They didn't know. Regarding the apartment, it is very comfortable for 2 people, However, the 2nd bedroom is actually a single room containing a double bed, so that room is not very comfortable. At least 6 light fixtures were not working while we were there: 2 floor lamps in the dining area + 3 wall sconces in the living area + 1 reading light in the main bedroom. Also, no strainer available for food prep. The dining room table is too low for comfortable dining." ~James
