"Pros: Absolutely fantastic apartment that I was happy to stay in for a month.
The place is clean, large, very comfortable, and with clean modern and functional design.
The livingroom has a comfortable couch, a large smart TV and a large dining table that's suitable for working as well.
The kitchen has a microwave/grill, decent for warming up pizza or pao de queijo. There are two conduction cooking plates, some pots and pans, waterboiler, toaster and blender for making smoothies. There's a large fridge/freezer.
The shower has reliable wam water with good pressure. There are two bathrooms.
The bed is large and sleeps sooooo good. There are blackout curtains and the windows when closed block out most of the party noises (it's downtown obvio) There's also a large smart tv in the bedroom for movienights in bed.
Both the living room and the bedroom have a good AC and heater combo. It's needed because some days it's 30 degrees, and others it's 12 (summer)
Wifi is stable 300/30 Mbps, great for remote working. There is a small gym and washer/dryer unit in the basement. The top floor has great views, tables for chilling, a pool and hot tub. Security and front-desk staff is friendly and helpful. The entrance to the garage elevator is small but if you ask, they can help you navigate.
Payment is in cash only so make sure you get enough Guaranis.
The downtown area is a typical downtown, traditional buildings, bunch of restaurants and bars, some sketchy parts at night. A few small grocery stores are walking distance, Biggie is open 24/7. You can use delivery apps for food or take affordable taxis to places. My favorite groceries are at Casa Rica.
For birdwatchers: along the costanera there are plenty to see. I saw burrowing owls, caracaras, southern lapwings, ringed and amazon kingfisher, campo flickers, terns, and guira cuckoos.
Stays are cheaper if you stay longer, a week or a month. I would definitely recommend." ~Hawaiiguy808
