"Pros: Alberto and all the staff are quite friendly! The room and bathroom was pretty comfortable, apart from the small issues mentioned below. Some nice shared areas in the hostel to sit and drink/eat etc Cons: Some small annoyances that could improve it: Only 1 plug socket and on the opposite side of the room to the bed Start accepting credit cards. Cash machines in Peru all seem to charge between 25-40 soles to withdraw cash. It starts adding up. Whilst I love cats, one (or more of them) has fleas, and I got bitten quite a bit one night. My last night I woke up at 3:00am to one of the cats fighting with some neighbouring cat for a long time! After about 30 minutes I had to go out to scare off the other cat, nobody else was going to do it And then there is a gap between two of the walls where pigeons are roosting, so you hear them a lot in the morning. Clear them out of there and block up the gap!" ~Owen
