"Pros: I had the best time here… the hostel itself is really beautiful, feels super cosy and the staff are really welcoming and friendly. The room I stayed in I shared with only two other people as that was the max capacity for it, perfect after staying in crammed hostels the previous weeks. You can really make yourself feel at home because the space you are given is so big, you have your own nightstand, a little closet/shelf and a small locker. Bathroom and shower are spacious too.
Location is near Cloud9, perfect for surfing. Riad Masaya even has their own surf instructor and he’s great! Otherwise you have a couple good cafes and restaurants around the corner. General Luna is more lively but also only 10 minutes by tricycle/motorbike. If you want to rent a motorbike, you can even do it through the hostel.
I wish I stayed here longer, I will book here again the next time I’m in Siargao."
