"Pros: (1) Our beds were comfortable. And our bedroom was a generous size. It had a good sized en suite. Everything was clean. We appreciated having a kettle and fridge in our room. (2) The hotel was on the edge of the park which made for a lovely walk into the town center. Visiting when the trees are in leaf is highly recommended so you can enjoy the formal park and the walk past the large ponds and lake in the other direction. (3) There was plenty of choice at breakfast which was buffet style. (4) The food in the restaurant was freshly cooked and the menu offered a good choice. And, I can recommend the local beer in the bottles with the green label - the bottled version is better tasting than the same beer freshly pulled. Note: if memory serves, the hotel disco finished promptly at 22:00, as did a loud private party. Cons: (1) All the staff were professional. However, during the course of our 3-night stay we never once managed to get a smile from the staff member we had most dealings with. In stark contrast, the manageress was charming AND, super helpful. (2) I could only get wifi on the first evening. (3) The international 'sport' hunters turned up at breakfast with the skulls and antlers from their kills to be weighed and recorded." ~Nicola

"Pros: A really nice place to stay. Beautiful villa. The room was nice and clean and super comfortable. Its close to shops and the little city centre. When you go outside your already in the park, so your surrounded by nature. The breakfasts are nice as well. Theres also a coffee machine and tea so you can have coffee and tea whenever you want.
