"Pros: The location is absolutely superb, the peace and quiet was just what we wanted. We were greeted by Sr Carvalhas and shown the mill and how it worked. Welcome gift of wine and cheese/ham platter was most appreciated. Sr Carvalhos is the most friendly and accommodating host and always brought small gifts of local delicacies and wine. The house is fully fitted with everything you could want. The constant sound of flowing water is so peaceful. A small piece of heaven. All in all a very exceptionally pleasant stay and we will be back again." ~Aubrey

"Pros: Beautifully renovated apartment in a characterful building. Host was very helpful (and spoke excellent English). Lovely gardens with lots of shade. We think the apartment is bigger than stated in the listing. Maybe the size given is for the bedroom - but there is also a separate kitchen/diner/sitting room. Cons: Nothing really - could supply more kitchen equipment such as better knives and more large cups and glasses, but they are minor issues. The road up to the property was fine for a normal sized car in dry weather, but I can see it might be difficult for a larger vehicle or in wet or icy conditions." ~Julie

"Pros: The 2 Bedroom unit we rented had a beautiful view, was equipped with modern fixtures and appliances and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The main bathroom was so well designed. On sunny days, the big balcony would be a pleasant place to sit. I would not hesitate to recommend the property. Cons: The gate to the property was a bit cumbersome to open and close manually and may need to be fitted with a new lock, but overall having a place to park off the street was appreciated." ~Yamashita

"Pros: The property is amazing and the best one we ever had. It is very clean and they even offered an extra cleaning. The outside area is very beautiful and well looked after. The pool is very clean and someone came to clean it everyday. The owner was very helpful and caring and we could contact him with any questions. If there were any issues he would come and fix them right away. The outside area is very spacious and with beautiful views of the mountains and you can have your privacy.
