Could see the sunset. Some road noise with windows open. Good elevator, great cooking facilities, clean, modern, 2 nice bedrooms with large beds. Host is very responsive. One of the best places we’ve stayed in our 3 wk trip through Portugal.
Cons: Pillows too large and hard,
Smell on 1st floor entry - not sure what it is. Plug your nose. Ok upstairs.
Hot water and the toilet water to flush toilet seem a bit short in the morning then OK later.
You will have to pay a damage deposit of 150 euro cash and then get back when you leave. States it’s on booking.com, we didn’t see it, only knew through comments."

"Pros: The main positive for us was the location. Azuleixo is very close to the canals and restaurants so as a guest here you feel like you are in the centre of town. Other good points: the two double bedrooms are spacious and of equal size so if you are travelling as two couples, neither couple needs to feel like they drew the short straw. And the host as well as his local agent, Dina, responded very quickly to any questions we had.
Cons: The negative for us was the construction site across the road. Both bedrooms overlook it so there is really no escaping the view. The park shown in the property's pictures is no longer there; I understand that a municipal underground carpark is being constructed and the park will eventually be reinstated on top of it, but anyway for us it was a but of a shock on arrival and not the view we'd expected to see."

Each guest room is uniquely decorated with bright colours, modern furnishings and include flat-screen cable TV. Some have air conditioning as well. All rooms feature a modern en suite bathroom. At the check-in counter, the front desk staff will be happy to give useful information on local landmarks, places to visit and best restaurants. Costa Nova Beach is a 10-minute drive from the property. Free public parking is available.
