"Pros: I love the host - Rita, she is a wonderful person, well mannered, polite and just a positive well intented Attitude person! i liked the location, because it was mostly close to a lot of stuff that I could see around in that area, this place us full of everything from restaurants, minimarkets, the beach is 20 minutes drive, and it's a quiet street I would say, I like the shower even though the hot water was shared among the other residents in the house and so I wasn't sure about the intensity of the flow.
I mostly liked the host and the size of the room was okay, she was so kind and generous with me!
Cons: I didn't like that the rooms were so close to one another, I didn't like that the other residents did not close the door to the house which made me feel unsafe, I didn't like that the doors were so thin and easy to break in, I didn't like that the bathroom did not have a window or ventilation sufficient enough.
I didn't like that the water stream was very low so I needed to time my shower with the other guests so that I can have enough water.
And I didn't like that the bed was made from two single mattresses tied into one big sponge, I felt limited in the bed area to only one side which made it feel like I was in a single bed and not a double, the bathroom door was squeaky and so was the toilet seat cover, so everything that I was doing didn't feel private to say the least.
Another thing I didn't like was that one of the guests came back late at night and vomited probably after the famous festival that was going on in that street, he was feeling bad and I could hear everything that was going on in this room, i felt unsafe to be in that house with drunk person that didn't lock the door at night and could be dangerous as he was drunk himself.
As a women, I would not recommend this because I don't think that women should be sleeping and an unsupervised house like this where other men can just get drunk come back whenever they want to almost collapse on the floor because they barely can walk three steps, leave the house open and potentially create a lot of drama that's what was going on in my head and it's very natural, I would definitely not do that again I want to feel secure, and when I pay money I expect my money to provide security as well, I understand that it's challenging to guarantee that but at least now I know what not to do."
