Adega Velha is a typical basalt house located in Calheta de Nesquim, Pico Island of the Azores archipelago. This recovered house offers views of the Atlantic Ocean where guests can observe whales, dolphins and dive in the natural pools nearby. This former cellar has 2 floors. On the top floor guests will find a comfortable double bedroom and on the ground floor there is a kitchen and a dining area. The outdoor terrace is equipped with a dining area and barbecue facilities. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances allowing guests to prepare their own meals. For a taste of the local gastronomy guests can visit the restaurants in the centre of Calheta de Nesquim within 1 km. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including fishing, hiking and diving. The property offers free parking. Cais do Pico, situated 32 km away, provides connections via ferry boat to the other islands of the archipelago.
