"Pros: Maktub Cottage was perfect for us 2 friends to stay as a base while exploring around Madeira and also enjoyijg Paul do Mar. The kitchen set-up was well equipped and the views of the sea out the window were fab! The owner Fabio was great, and super quick to reply if we had a query.. we ended up staying extra. "Pros: The best of all is the balcony and view! Every night and every morning you fall asleep and wake with the ocean,simply amazing! Also comfy bed,clean and cozy apartment,we enjoy it!! Cons: I didnt like there is no hang for the clothes and some of the kitchen aid are bit old/used." ~Lucia

"Pros: We had a wonderful stay in Orlando's house, it was even better than we expected. The house is well maintained, has everything you might need, and the view is just amazing. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future. Cons: Be aware the ramp to the house's own parking lot is very narrow. This is however not an issue, since you can just park at the gate, or even on the street, which is what I would recommend if you are not a skilled driver." ~Sebastian
