"Pros: The location of this cottage is spectacular. It overlooks the beach at Carvoeiro. As the cottage faces east, you get the morning sun. A cup of coffee at the balcony is the perfect start to the day. The bedrooms aren't huge but that's expected in Europe and they had everything we needed. The cottage is well equipped with everything we needed for a few days of sightseeing. The upper terrace is also superb. You got the views of the Atlantic and the beach. There's more than enough seating and a couple of loungers for the sun worshippers. The washer is also on the top floor and was well appreciated as we'd been travelling for some time.
Cons: The stairs to the upper terrace need some work. The stairs are steep and the railing did not feel particularly sturdy."

"Pros: The place has a great view and is very well located, close to the beach and town center. The patio was quite nice! You get sun in the morning until mid afternoon.
Cons: The bed and futon were not comfortable and sleep was difficult for two people. There was a lingering odour of humidity or mold, especially in the lower kitchen cabinets. The appliances were a bit older and some of them were damaged. When used, the bathroom sink leaked a little so there was always water near the bathroom door."

"Pros: Based just above Carvoiero Beach and town the property is beautifully situated for getting to the restaurants, and (smaller) supermarkets. It is in a quiet location with only the sound of cars going down the one way street being heard.
Cons: The documentation is contained on a website but it is not specific enough to cover what is needed. Although it led us to expect we would be met at the property this was not the case. We had to rely on our great Yelllowfish taxi driver to ring the company. (My phone refused to switch to a local service). He was given the lockbox number and retrieved the keys but didn't pass it on. The company then gave us an old number before we got the real one to leave the key when we left."
