"Pros: Hosts were lovely and apartment was really clean. We liked the location as it was pretty centrally located on the island and getting onto the main roads from the apartment was quick. We always found a free parking space outside the apartment. We rented a car from Jorge and Tania which was a seamless experience, including to and from the airport. The apartment has nice vintage furnishings and the facilities were great. If you do stay, we can recommend the local restuarant Alma Latina. Cons: I don't have any criticism to give. The mattress on the downstairs bed is pretty soft, which is a personal preference, however we didn't try the bed upstairs! Definitely not a reason to not stay here, we really recommend it." ~Sarah

"Pros: The apartment is beautiful, modern, spacious and exactly as depicted in the images - if not better! Gonçalo & Carolina were lovely and extremely easy to communicate with. Any questions we had before, during and after our stay were taken care of immediately. It was my boyfriends birthday and they were kind enough to surprise us with a bottle of wine on the table! The apartment is located next to a picturesque church and praço. Contrary to some of the other reviews, we did not perceive the sound of passing cars or church bells to be too loud. In our opinion, it is a quiet, pleasant and local neighbourhood. Cons: I wouldn't classify this as a dislike but as constructive feedback: Even though we did not cook during our stay, we did notice that there were only 2 pots and 1 small pan. I believe it would be beneficial to add more cooking utensils so that future guests have a more comfortable experience in the kitchen. Except for salt and pepper, there were no spices / oils provided." ~Sadée
