"Pros: We stayed here as a group of six and couldn’t have found a more ideal place. Each bedroom comes with its own bathroom, giving everyone their privacy – a huge plus! The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking, with clear, stunning views of the sea. There’s a short footpath down to the coast, making it easy to enjoy the natural surroundings.
The location is excellent for exploring the island. There are small supermarkets within walking distance, making it convenient for picking up essentials. Pedro, our host, was amazing – always responsive, very friendly, and quick to offer tips. He recommended a fantastic nearby restaurant within walking distance, which we loved so much we visited twice!
The apartment provides shower gel and shampoo, as well as extra towels specifically for visiting the hot springs – a thoughtful touch. Just steps away from the apartment is a natural pool by the sea that fills up at high tide. We absolutely loved this unique experience!
There are two parking spaces right outside the apartment, which is really nice for a bigger group.
A quick note: the kitchen is generally well-equipped, but be aware that some basics like salt, pepper, and cooking essentials like oil and a pasta strainer weren’t provided, so plan ahead.
Overall, this was a wonderful base for our Azores adventure, and we’d highly recommend it for groups or families looking to enjoy this beautiful island!
Cons: On a very subjective note, the lighting was a bit too cold for our taste. With warmer lighting, this already lovely apartment would feel even cozier."
A Casa Do Comandante

"Pros: The property is beautiful, featuring a pool and garden, plenty of space for every guest, and lovely details in the interior design. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy and enjoyable to cook dinner, and the washing machine was very convenient, especially for longer stays. The jacuzzi was a great bonus, enhancing the relaxing experience. In addition to bath towels, there were also towels for the pool and beach, which was very nice.
Cons: There was an issue with the kitchen drainage (likely caused by previous guests), but it was resolved quickly. The house is near the highway, which could be a problem for some guests (not for us, as we couldn't say it is busy). Additionally, I would say the bed was a bit small. However, it is a really good option for the price."
