"Pros: I spent a week in Madeira Surf Camp and I can only recommend this place. The rooms and the kitchen were clean and had everything you need, but the best thing about it was the terrace with a beautiful view of Porto da Cruz and the sea. Porto da Cruz is a very charming and small town and it is perfect if you want to go surfing. I can highly recommend the surflessons that the hostel offers. I already had some surfing experience, but the teachers were amazing and I learned a lot from them. Héldar was also a great host, who really tried care for his guests. All in all I had a great time. Cons: The only thing I could say here is that some of the chairs on the terrace were not in the best condition anymore but Héldar already told us that he will buy new ones soon." ~Dieterle
