"Pros: A perfect stay if you are looking for a cute, cozy but down-to-earth place remote in nature to completely relax. Huge ground, direct access to a river, beautiful hiking trail alongside the natural pools in walking distance. I was travelling on my own with my dog for a hiking holiday in Serra da Estrela. We both loved it and felt totally safe! We did 5 walks in the nearer area (Cortes do Meio, Unhais da Serra, Covilha, Penhas da Saude), all of them were well marked." ~Anja

"Pros: The studio had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Basic kitchen utensils, very comfortable bed, great shower, and everything very clean. Amazing location in the small village of Cortes do Meio and perfectly located for the hiking trail and proximity to the river. Cons: There wasn't a lot of natural light because there were not enough windows. Luckily during our stay the weather was amazing so we spent most of our time outdoors anyway." ~Charlotte
