"Pros: The property is in a location that allows you to easily visit Viana do Castelo, Valença, Monçao, and Ponte da Barca. The house is gorgeous and spacious. There are 3 en-suite bedrooms and a bedroom downstairs where you would have to go upstairs to use the bathroom. The induction cooktop is a plus. The host was responsive, kind, and helpful. I would recommend it to others. Cons: The issue was we began our stay on a very cold day/night and the house was too large for the radiator heating units to heat the house with the intervals the host had them set to. We were able to contact the host the next morning because we all were cold including our pets and they agreed to get space heaters for the rooms and keep the radiators on. Once the radiators were kept on it was more than sufficient. The other issue is the home did not have enough electrical plugs. So you may want to bring a few multi-plugs if in a large group. Just note the power may go out if many things are on at the same time." ~Letticia

"Pros: Very nice property, as described. Quiet, beautiful setting, very well maintained gardens, and outdoor area. The apartment is very modern and clean, and the shower is great. The towels and the toiletries are provided. The swimming pool area is very well looked after; there are sunbeds and umbrellas reserved for each apartment, so we didn’t have to worry that there would be no space. The swimming pool is lovely; our girls spent lots of time there. We had it mostly to ourselves. There is an area where you can sit in the evening and relax, and there is also a barbecue area in the garden. Outside, there is a court, where we played basketball and badminton. Our girls absolutely loved the chickens and the lemon trees. Beautiful landscapes and surroundings. Cons: The beds are hard and uncomfortable, but might be ok for others. The fridge is quite small and the freezer didn’t freeze. We would also prefer steel cookware (only coated in black cookware was available at the property and we try to stay away from Teflon and other non stick stuff). Otherwise it’s a great clean, modern place with lots of outdoor space." ~Philip
