"Pros: Time to relax! We felt the kindness of the owners and citizens in Aregos and Resende, a place nearby. The house was very spacious, amazing and clean! Our baby was not having dirty knees, which was quite unique on our trip consisting of 14 locations. Furthermore the pool, bbq facilities and its lovely surroundings make it the perfect location to spend your holiday. Cons: -" ~Mollen

"Pros: Diana met us to make sure we found the house. She walked us through the property and answered all our questions upon arrival. She was available by text anytime and communicated well throughout our stay. The home is well maintained, clean, warm and an authentic example of a local/historical home with modern conveniences. The gardens, fruit trees and pool were all available to us. It was very quiet and peaceful and set within a small local village. It was our first time driving in the area and navigating to the home specifically (and the Douro Valley in general) takes patience, skill, a bit of nerve and a good gps to navigate all the twisting and narrow roads. The nearest groceries and restaurants were about 15 minutes by car. Regua is 45-60 min by car. Cons: The kitchen was small for more than one person, but it was well stocked and had everything we needed for our group." ~Brent

"Pros: This is a little piece of paradise. We didn’t want to leave. The position of the infinity pool overlooking the Douro was incredible. The ‘little house’ that we stayed in for 3 nights was well finished, had lots of room, and had amazing views. We loved walking around the terraced farms, and picked fresh apples and a lemon for our G&T! (helping yourself to ripe fruit is encouraged by the owner). A wonderful place that we hop to return to. Cons: It’s a very minor point, but we would have liked a frying pan! There were plenty of other cooking pots and utensils. Of course this did not take away from our most enjoyable stay!" ~Anthony
