"Pros: The photos don't do the house justice. It is a really welcoming, comfortable space and we liked it so much that we decided to spend our remaining time in Sao Miguel here. It's a good spot to visit most of the island, 20 minutes from Ponta Delgada and 45 minutes from Mosteiros. We also preferred Ribeira Grande to Ponta Delgada as a place to stay: more laid back and prettier. Cons: The only very minor recommendations I could make is to add a soap dish to the shower and a few more towel hooks in the ensuite bathroom." ~Cristina

"Pros: The Ribeira Grande is located in the middle of the island and it will take up to 1 hour to drive to any location you want. As for the apartments - we really enjoyed them. The apartment is fully equipped if you prefer to cook. Good internet if you need it. There is a great patio where you can grill and chill. I would even say "fantastic", so much I love it, but the tight schedule and her majesty the Weather didn't allow us to test it ) The panorama window to the patio is adding additional "space" - very good. You can also find some interesting places nearby if you want to walk a little before going to sleep. Cons: It is a little noisy at night because of the passing cars. But there is no high traffic so not critical. Sometimes you need to find a place to park a car. I'm sure will be fixed soon." ~Roman
