"Pros: The house is very complete and has a really nice atmosphere. It is pretty high up in the mountain and you have a great view from the garden and two bedrooms (with cute balcony). It has a nice terrace and I loved sitting outside in the swinging bench to look at all the lights in the evening. In the garden you even have a separate place to eat and bbq. And the view from the pool.. wow!! So nice to cool off after a warm day. We had a great time, also thanks to the great hosts Susana and Jayme. Susana was very friendly and supported in everything to have a nice time (even brought tomatoes from her vegetable garden) Cons: You need your car for everything, in the near area is nothing, so you cannot walk to a bakery for example. Big supermarkt is a 15 minutes drive and you can get everything there. The road to the house is quite a challenge, however after a few times you get used to it." ~Annelieke

"Pros: Tastefully decorated, extremely friendly and welcoming caretakers, stunning vistas, well maintained facilities, and beautiful Chapel. Close to many quaint and charming towns. Lots of space, perfect for a large family or group of friends. Cons: The drain covers in the driveway seemed to be being worked on and were slightly raised which made it difficult to drive over with low cars. A lack of hot water in the bathroom was experienced on occasion." ~Frisby

"Pros: The house itself is beautiful and spacious. Lovely views in an historic home. We would love to return with other family members so they can experience this area and accommodation. Cons: The kitchen appliances could use some updating. We washed our dishes by hand because the dishwasher appeared to be finicky but we never tested it. The beds were very firm. Although we understand that with lovely old bed frames comes odd sized mattresses that can be hard to find." ~Deryn
