"Pros: House was really nice, good size kitchen, very big living room, nice bedrooms, plus covered 'outside dining room'. It was Feb, so weather was cold, and the house does not have central heating (normal in this part of the world). Nice wood stove with as much wood as we wanted, plus some electric heaters. Pans, cutlery, plates etc all plentiful. Host very nice, spoke Portugese and FRench; had someone to help with english speakers. Cons: Kitchen utensils were poor quality - but generally workable. Bring your own knife if you cook (good advice almost everywhere!)." ~Iain

"Pros: Miguel is a lovely guy. He's very helpful but also leaves you to it. If we needed anything we could ask. He advised us of nice restaurants and events in the area. He also brought us some fresh figs from his trees.The dogs are really friendly and the property is beautiful. The surrounding area is also beautiful, so great views. The pool was nice. The horses were also lovely. It is best to have a car to stay here but if you do there is plenty of nice places to travel to." ~Jade
