"Pros: Great location close to the best beaches on Reunion and great snorkelling. A really lovely space with beautiful balcony overlooking the sea and great attention to detail. The hot-tub was really fun to have too.
Pascal was an amazing host with great communication before and during our stay. He met us at the property and explained everything to us and gave us lots of local tips. We could borrow snorkels and he provided beach towels.
Nothing was too much trouble.
The breakfasts were amazing and Pascal even baked a vegan cake specially for my wife, which was delicious. Bob’s homemade vanilla yoghurt was also delicious.
A great place to unwind and chill at the end of a holiday trekking in Reunion.

"Pros: the location
- you have a beautiful view over the lagoon, and can admire sunsets and watch whales whilst sitting on the balcony.
- self check-in/out, you get the location details and code for the key box and instructions by email
- all modern amenities like home, including a washing machine, dishwasher, cutlery, towels and linen
- near a great beach, the motorway and couple of touristic hotspots
- good workout to get by foot to the beach or the shopping strip, as it is up the hill
Cons: the location
- both streets to the unit have some unlit stretches, on one you must pass in front of a bar, so it might happen after dark to see one of the locals in the middle of the road demonstrating his nunchak skills to his drinking buddies (fortunately they minded their business)
- at that time a massive construction site across the road, so early wake ups during the week
- the flat itself has seen better days (a good paint job should do it), old fridge, the kitchen cabinet edge veneers were slowly peeling off – due to the air humidity?
- despite the two bathrooms, there is only one separate toilet without washing sink - this might pose a logistical challenge for more than 4 persons
- ancient door lock broken on the inside, so the only way to lock the door is to use the silly chain, making us feel unsafe during the night
- we were „visited“ twice by roaches, so emptying the trash can every day was imperative"
