"Pros: I highly recommend staying here! the family is wonderful and kind. they drove me from the train station and back again. they made sure I had wood for the fire and helped me when I got lost. The location is superb. The apt is located in a historical building and walking distance to all the historic sites and thermal baths. These healing waters were visited by Hercules and have layer upon layer of history built around the hot springs. You can bathe free in the hot springs along the river beside the apt, or walk to the hot springs in the national park or walk a few minutes to Hotel Roman and pay 30lei to enjoy their pool. the restaurant there is very nice too. If you would like a treat walk down the river to Afroditi resort and have a massage for 160lei and 15min private soak in their Sulfur pool for 20lei. If you stay in this apartment you have the best of everything, you can live with the locals and wash your clothes, warm yourself with a fabulous wood fire and make coffee in the drip coffee machine. The shower is lovely too. I think hot tub doesn’t translate to English, it is actually an extremely fancy shower with great water pressure. I love this apartment and the family who owns it. I will be back with my husband and child for another visit ♥️" ~Danica
