"Pros: Victorian House a hidden gem in the heart of Sibiu! You've instantly become a local when you stay here. The apartment is located in the pedestrian old-town part of the city. While the street entry is unlabeled, unimpressive and dark, you walk through a second doorway into the inner courtyard, as if you live in the city. At the back of the courtyard, your hostess meets you and and welcomes you into the keyless entry, showing you all the delightful secrets of this luxurious apartment. The wall painting behind the bed is a WOW! But then you turn and everywhere you look our tiny details that contribute to your sense of luxury while you were staying here. A special note is the alcove with the golden tub, a wonderful addition for couples and their evening relaxation. There's a lot of special lighting, including candles that flicker. A cozy kitchen, thoughtfully stocked with a few items, confirms the detailed thinking of your hostess. While traveling, restaurants are great, but sometimes it's even more enjoyable to return to your apartment and relax with a bit of food and drink. Coffee cups, wine glasses, and other kitchen utensils were a nice quality. There is a Nespresso machine for a quick coffee. Sunlight came in through the windows in the morning as a pleasant wake up. The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot with excellent water pressure. The chaise lounge called for a collapse onto it after traveling. Parking is tight within the city, so it's great to leave your car behind if that's how you arrived and just walk out your apartment door to the many treats of the old, central city. You are definitely not in a four star hotel, where someone is waiting on you, you are in a four star apartment, basking in the luxury designed by your hostess. Cons: If you don't like the neighborhood type feeling, you might mind a dog barking or some other noise." ~Voxdoc
