"Pros: There are no hotels in the town of Siret. This hotel is about 5 kms. from the centre of the town, on the Romanian/Ukranian border. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and breakfast isn't bad. We got a decent nights sleep. Air-conditioning was good. You had complete control of it. When it was turned off, it stayed off. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Cons: It;s a decent hotel, but the fixtures and fittings are deteriorating a little. A menu isn't offered for breakfast, but you do have some choice, even if you pick and pay for the inclusive breakfast, If you don't, you get the same thing each day. Strange that breakfast starts from 8 o'clock, rather than a little earlier. You won't find a kettle in your room, but you can request one. Make sure you also ask for cups. The TV channel guide is completely out of date, but there are still plenty of channels to choose from. Whilst we were there, customs allowed trucks to travel over the border all night, which you can hear if you have a room at the front of the hotel. Try to get a room at the back." ~Martyn
