Looking back upon a 100 year-long tradition in hospitality the historical Grandhotel Stary Smokovec in the centre of the High Tatras, only 3 minutes from the departure station of the Hrebienok cable car, enchants with its historic architecture and a relaxing wellness centre with a free access for guests. Spa facilities include a swimming pool, a hot tub, a Finnish Sauna, a steam bath and many more facilities. The rooms were reconstructed in 2018 and provide a stylish comfort during your stay. They will provide you with satellite TV, a minibar, a safety deposit box, a telephone and a private bathroom with a hairdryer, bathrobes and free toiletries. Free WiFi is available in all areas. A good cuisine has always been a strong asset of the Grandhotel Starý Smokovec. Traditional dishes and delicious desserts can be enjoyed on site. Gradhotel **** Starý Smokovec reserve the right to change the dinner form based on operational reasons. The hotel is set in a heart of the Stary Smokovec, the liveliest resort with many touristic facilities, a main junction for reaching the other resorts as well as the largest station on the Tatra electric railroad. The Tatranska Lomnica Ski Area can be reached within 5 km and free ski bus runs directly from the hotel. The nearest railway station and bus station are reachable within a 5-minute walk and the Poprad Airport is located a 20-minute drive away.

For holidays between 1.12.2023 and 21.4.2024 ski passes, cable cars and water parks are included for registered Gopass members. In the period from 7.1.- 21.4.2024 is included in the stay in the hotel Fast Pass service for free.
