Chata Tatra is set in the forest of the High Tatras National Park. A wooden swing and a small area where you can grill are available on site. The simply furnished en-suite rooms have wooden furniture and are painted in bright, apricot colours. The nearest restaurant is 500 metres away from the Tatra. Hiking with a professional mountain guide can be organised. Skijoring, where the skier is pulled by a horse, is also organised by Chaty Tatra. A sauna is available for surcharge. Guests staying 5 or more night at the property enjoy 1 free entrance to the on-site sauna. Chaty Tatra is 500 metres away from the cog railway stop, a 12-minute ride to Strbske Pleso. Strba Train Station is 1 km away and offers connections to Bratislava, Kosice or Praha. Cross-country skiing paths as well as cycling paths are situated next to the property. The property also offers tickets for the cog and electric railway. The ski centre of Strbske Pleso is 7 km away and Tatranska Lomnica is 26 km from the property.
