"Pros: Very private house that’s surprisingly spacious inside. Lovely deck next a stream. Big field uphill from the house which is full of crickets. There’s also a charcoal barbecue and big wooden table for eating outdoors. Parking is easy and there’s space for two cars. It’s on a quiet road so there’s no traffic noise. A really beautiful spot. Cons: It could do with some fencing along the field edge where there’s a steep drop to the stream and also steps from the decking door to the recycling area, which again is a steep drop. The plants by the decking seating are really spiky so they’d definitely be worth replacing with something that doesn’t hurt." ~Ceri

"Pros: Old flat like a grandmother house - old furniture and pictures of saints on walls in few chambers. Place where time has stopped. Good opportunity to come back to old times. Nice owner who was asking us what we need. Kanal is a small location like little old city with some lovely places to walk in evenings. Exellent bread in very close bakery. 5 mins to beach at Soča river. In one sentence - don't think but go to Kanal to this unusuall house :)" ~Przemysław
