"Pros: The apartment was very clean and fully equiped. Lake Bled is situated 10 minutes by car from the apartment. It is a cosy and quiet village surrounded by beautiful nature, views to mountains, meadows. 10 minutes walking you can get to the nearest pub, pizzeria, children playground with a summer "bar". We had a large table in a terrace, with lot of privacy and green plants around. Very cosy. Cons: We booked an apartment in the basement, which was probably more like a cellar in tha past and apparently the owners are struggling with damp. However, there is an extractor fan in each room which the owner recommends not to turn off. It is a bit noisy so we turned it off for the night and ventilated through the windows. The kitchen is very small and a bit dark, but the dining space is very bright because it´s situated close to the glass wall. The second bedroom was very dark, and to get to it we had to cross a corridor with open stairs leading to another corridor that led to another apartment. So, other people could theoretically get to our apartment. There was only a chain on the stairs, but none of the other guests came to us, but it was a strange feeling not to have that accommodation closed off by a door." ~Přívratská
