"Pros: Lovely room with nice outside space with excellent views. Beds were comfortable. Good bathroom with excellent shower and bath. Nice pool area. Quaint bar for pre-dinner drinks and excellent meals with friendly staff in a traditional setting. Good breakfast options. We booked our game drives separately and these were very enjoyable and included a good lunch. Interesting to meet other guests at breakfast and dinner to learn from their experiences and knowledge of the area. Cons: Handover from initial check in to room allocation seemed a little unstructured. Lodges are very close to each other so not particularly private. Rooms were very dark." ~Anthony

"Pros: The camp manager Edwin was super friendly and helpful. The location of the camp was awesome. You are surrounded by nature and animals and have a fantastic view. There are various houses and every single one of them is so comfortable and you can relax perfectly. The kitchen is well equipped and the pool has the perfect location. Cons: The location of the camp was wrong in booking. We needed to do several calls in order to get the information of the right gate. So the arrival was complicated. Please note that you can't drive to the camp by yourself, you need to be shuttled in and out through the Amakhala Game Reserve. If you want to do any trips on your own (e.g. Addo NP) you need to be shuttled to your car as well and you will be charged for that in the end, which we didn't know." ~Tatjana
