"Pros: Magoebaskloof Hotel is set in one of the most breathtaking locations – the views of the valley are absolutely incredible and really make the stay special. The staff were truly exceptional too – warm, helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. That said, the rooms are a bit tired and could be cleaner. The bathrooms are quite dated and would really benefit from a revamp. Small touches – like matching taps, a TV that’s properly aligned, and milk for coffee that isn’t rock solid – would go a long way in improving the overall experience. The restaurant menu is quite limited, especially if you're vegetarian or gluten-free. The breakfast buffet has a good spread, but it’s pricey, and unfortunately, there’s no alternative breakfast option. For someone who is gluten-free, paying full price for just fruit and grated cheese doesn’t feel great value. All in all, the views and the staff make it a memorable stay, but with a few upgrades and more inclusive food options, it could be truly fantastic." ~Mark
