"Pros: All the personnele in the hotel were very nice: from reception, cleaning to restaurant personelle. Smilying, helpful and quick. We didn’t have to wait long to get extra blankets and so on. The sea was close, nice elevator to get down and up. Very nice garden around. Good posibilities for sports just at the side of the hotel, but for an additional price. The food in the hotel was actually ok. After reading previous comments I was afraid that we are not going to be able to eat here… but it was actually ok. Don’t expect Iberostar level food here and You will be ok. The only unpleasant event was that we saw some buggs, not going to mention what, but who can avoid it where it is food🤷♀️… Beds were very big ( compared to standart) and OK comfortable.
Cons: Isolation in the hotel was not good. There was a lot of noise from the entertainment in the valley that was mostly related to English children. Popular children jumping music, nothing tasteful- don’t go there ant sleep with the ear plugs unless you are looking for that kind of s..I would Call the hotel in Spanish standards max 3 stars hotel… somewhere in deep Russia would it be a 4 star hotel but not here in Spain. Very used hotel…we were looking for a cheap hotel close to the sea and sun in december. We Got it. The only thing I didnt get was peace becaise of that Music down the valey..( stops about 24 o clock)."

"Pros: The apartment had everything we needed including bath towels and beach towels. The hairdryer did not work but they dropped us a new one off straight away when we reported it. The balcony is huge with a magnificent view. Double bed very comfortable. Apartment block kept very clean. Few cats around but we did not mind as love the fury little animals. They don't scrounge or bother you though. Shop and restraunt close by and you can use the hotel's pool over the road also. Block has lovely big pool itself and plenty beds but pool was bit cold this time of year. All inclusive restraunt close by too where you can pay for breakfast, lunch or evening meal. Bus several times a day outside of apartments which take you to Amadores beach (which is a must!), Purto de Mogan and Purto Rico.
Cons: As like most of Gran Canaria, apartment was right at the top of a hill, hence the magnificent view. But that does mean a 15-20 minute walk down to the beach which is a nice enough walk, but walking back is pretty hard-core, especially if you are elderly or unfit. But there is a taxi rank at the bottom so you could get taxi up. Only given one set of keys too which was a bit of a faff so highly recommend lodgers are given 2 sets of keys in future."
