"Pros: Despite not speaking much English, Ravi was there to welcome us when we arrived only 5 minutes after booking our stay. He is always around to help you with anything you may need. The room was clean, spacious and has a wonderful patio area all to ourselves! We loved how beautiful the garden was (and was kept by Ravi), enjoying the nature - we saw mongoose and monitor lizards. The bed was really comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, despite it being short. We could see how easy it was to stay for long periods of time as everything was walkable. "Pros: I spent over a week at Villa Bilimbi and it was a great experience. Amazing standards compared to what I have seen in most places in Sri Lanka. Clean, big rooms, great toilets with hot shower and great pressure. It is a villa with 3 rooms and it is great to have access to a kitchen to cook and a fridge to storage things in the cold. There is also a pleasant patio and a washing machine that can be used at no extra cost. I was working remotely and the wi-fi was pretty decent for Sri Lanka. The host was great and helpful and super flexible with check in check out times. Would def recommend Cons: This was not much of a downturn for me as I had a scooter but without a scooter the location is a bit hard to move around. The best beaches to swim (Kabalana or Midigama) are still a bit far and even for surfing you are 15-20 walking from Marshmallow. I loved the location as it was quite and beautiful surroundings but advisable to have a mean of transport." ~Marta
