"Pros: Staying at this family-run homestay in Hiriketiya was very Sweet. The house is just a stone’s throw from the beach – you fall asleep to the gentle sound of the ocean and wake up in total peace. It’s quiet and calm, yet everything is just a short walk away. What made it truly magical, though, was the beautiful family that welcomed us. Their baby girl, Gaguli Unara, is an absolute angel – only a few weeks old and already full of light and sweetness. Being surrounded by this loving energy made our stay feel deeply grounding and connected. Hiriketiya has changed so much in recent years – it’s grown, it’s busier – but staying here, with a local family, brought back the authentic charm that originally drew people to this place and what seems to be forgotten down the road. I was especially touched by how sweet and caring they were with my own baby boy – they treated us with so much kindness and warmth. "Pros: EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!! There was nothing I didn't love about this place. The location is stunning, the views are stunning, the staff are superb (the Villa Manager Kumara is an outstanding host and master chef) Timmy is adorable (and so well behaved), grounds are huge well cared for and full of wildlife, the house, rooms comfy, clean, and contained all necessary amenities needed. It was just paradise. The people who let this property, Eden Villas, are also a very professional company. They were in contact with us during our stay checking that everything was up to spec and that we were happy with everything. My main contact with the Company, Nimali, was outstanding.
