"Pros: The location was away from the busy street, and the owners were lovely. The breakfast was basic but ok. Upali drove us to our next destination for a very good price. Cons: The bathrooms were a bit smelly from the mold, and the water leaked from the taps, so very little pressure." ~Bazzana

"Pros: We had a great 2 night stay at the Bangalawa resort. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped arrange a safari for us and a Tuktuk driver to take us to Dambula and Sigiriya for a good price. Really enjoyed our stay. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful. It’s a bit of the main road so all you can here is the wildlife. The room is basic but comfortable and provides everything we needed. It felt like it was clean. The food is amazing. The breakfast was amazing both days and they even provided it later than normal when we went out for the safari early. Dinner from Curry and Rice was excellent. A great introduction to Sri Lankan food culture. Cons: The room is comfortable but it is a bit rough around the edges. For example the door handle on the bathroom was broken. Given the price and how amazing the staff and service was, I can accept this." ~Joseph
