Jungletide is a homestay with a sprawling garden and outdoor pool in the Hantana hills above Kandy. Offering private rooms with a veranda, the property provides free WiFi in the common areas and free private parking. Driver accommodation is provided at a surcharge. Jungletide is 6.5 km from Ceylon Tea Museum, 10 km from Kandy General Hospital, 11 km from Kandy Railway Station and 84 km from Bandaranaike International Airport. Kandy is a 30-minute drive away. The rooms at Jungletide feature a seating area and private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Free tea, coffee and drinking water are provided. Other amenities include a shared lounge. There are books and CD's and guests have access to a 24-hour front desk and can go cycling and hiking during their stay. Other activities include jungle trekking and bird watching. Sri Lankan meals can be prepared by the property's staff.

It is not possible to stay at this property for Coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine purposes. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. Guests who stay a week enjoy a free stay on the final night. Please note that the booking will only be confirmed once guests have responded to a message from the property to ensure that they are aware of the location of the property. Until then the room(s) will not be confirmed. Please note that meals can be provided if requested 24 hours in advance

People 6 years old and over stay for US$6 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.
