"Pros: In spite of rain and low cloud still enjoyed occasional glimpses of surrounding hills listening to the birds and a dip in the lovely pool. The fresh air was a welcome relief after the heat on the coast and we slept really well without AC. Interior of bungalow was like living in a set from a historical tv production. Meals cooked by the chef were tasty and met our requests to try Sri Lankan spicy curries. Gardener did a great job maintaining the lovely garden and gorgeous plants and flowers. He also took the time to show us up to have a look around the adjoining tea factory. Cons: Although the antique sanitary ware in the bathroom was lovely, the bath and shower needed a bit of upgrading but we understood that was soon due to take place." ~Cheryl
