"Pros: This is my second time in Thambara Resort, and wow, it is more better than before! Now they have new staff, and they are amazing, really. There is one old lovely uncle in the staff – and he is a chef. But no, not just a chef, the best chef in Sri Lanka! We have the breakfast in the resort, and his food is just incredible. I never eat something so delicious in my life here. Also, the rooms now are more comfortable, really perfect to relax after explore Polonnaruwa. The owner and the staff are very kind people. The owner even come to pick up us from the railway with his own vehicle. This is not something you see in every place! They make us feel like home, and our journey was unforgettable because of them.
