"Pros: Beautiful property in a stunning location in the middle of the mountains- very serene and quiet. Very clean and comfortable spacious rooms. Very warm hospitality from the staff especially Ishan who was very helpful. Chef Ashoka was excellent for Sri Lankan curries and food. Excellent WiFi and unlimited tea/coffee was very much appreciated. Cons: For the price there should be air conditioning in the rooms because during the day temperatures were around 30 degrees Celsius and the room felt like a furnace - even with the fan switched on it is simply impossible to enjoy the room during the day because of the stifling heat and no air conditioning. Also on the first day I was told I would have total privacy to go for a dip in the nearby stream/pond on the property, and out of nowhere about a dozen people appeared who were not staying at the property but decided to picnic and bathe there as well - I had to go indoors as there were too many people and I could no longer enjoy what was otherwise a peaceful space. I don’t think it’s fair that a fully paying customer is forced to leave the space and facilities they have paid for. Had I been informed total strangers would suddenly show up, I would have booked elsewhere." ~Rumal
